April 2012 - Phillips launches new branding

Basingstoke law firm Phillips has rebranded to embrace the changing legal landscape and position itself for further growth.  Nick Hewer, Lord Sugar’s trusted adviser on The Apprentice, joined Phillips’ directors for a champagne toast at the BeInspired business event on 19 April.

Howard Gardener, director, says: ‘Phillips has a very strong name in the market and our refreshed visual identity is a powerful tool to differentiate us from our competitors.  The legal market is changing rapidly, but at Phillips we always embrace change and are excited about future opportunities.’

Howard continues: “Our rebrand is not just about the new logo and it’s not what we do that sets us apart from our competitors but the way that we do it.  We are positioned as a modern and progressive firm - a place where the ‘client experience’ comes first, which is why we are proud to be recommended as a leading firm in the Legal 500.’

As part of the rebrand Phillips has launched a new website which has been designed and built by Clear Signal, a Basingstoke multi-disciplinary design agency.  Howard concludes ‘The cutting-edge site,, reflects the diversity of the firm, is user-friendly and provides each visitor with the ability to see clearly what we do, find out who we are and how we work.’
