Dermot Rayner joined Phillips in October 2007, bringing additional commercial property skills to Jonathan Pender’s team, gained during 20 years in the legal profession.
After studying law at Reading University, and completing his LPC at Law College in London, Dermot qualified in 1987 and launched into a career specialising in commercial property. Dermot has worked in a number of different public and commercial organisations including: local government, a development corporation in Milton Keynes, the Prudential in London and the Sovereign Housing Group in Newbury. This breadth of experience spanning such a variety of organisations will be invaluable to clients. In between these posts, Dermot found time to take a year out in France and another studying at the Sorbonne in Paris, adding fluency in French to his accomplishments.
Outside of the legal environment, Dermot indulges in yacht racing on the Solent and mountain biking across the UK.
