Hayley was admitted as a solicitor in 2005 and joined Phillips' family law team in June 2007. Hayley has a strong local interest: she was educated in Basingstoke, gained a law degree at Southampton, completed her LPC with distinction at Guildford and returned to Basingstoke to complete her training contract.
Hayley specialises in all aspects of family law with a particular emphasis on child-related matters. Hayley also offers her family law clients the added bonus of dealing with the conveyancing transactions resulting from financial settlements within divorce or relationship breakdown generally.
As well as general civil disputes, a recent addition to Hayley's areas of expertise is landlord and tenant law, both residential and commercial, acting for both landlords and tenants.
Outside her legal life, Hayley is passionate about community affairs and has been elected as a local councillor for Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council. Hayley says ‘Thanks to all those who voted for me in the local elections. It’s a great honour and a responsibility to represent Kempshott and my priority now is to support all the residents and help to make our community a better place to live.’
