Richie joined Phillips in September 2006 as a trainee solicitor. Richie graduated from Liverpool with an honours degree in French and German, becoming fluent during his year long stay in Germany. Some experience in the Court service in Warrington and in client relations in Brighton convinced Richie that law was his true vocation and so he enrolled at the College of Law, London, to take his Graduate Diploma in Law. The Legal Practice Course followed and Richie graduated in 2005/06.
Experience of the commercial world will certainly be of great value as Richie trains within four teams at Phillips over his two training year contract.
Richie has a great interest in politics, literature, sports and is an avid Everton supporter, as well as enjoying newly married life.
