Shirah graduated in law, with honours, from Southbank London and gained her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law, London. After a two-year training contract at Phillips, Shirah was admitted as a Solicitor in 2004.
Shirah has experience in litigation and commercial law departments but her chosen specialism is Wills and Probate and all elderly client matters. Shirah guides clients through Will preparation, Estate administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and also advises on Inheritance Tax liability and Discretionary Trusts.
Shirah is valued by her clients for her competence and professionalism as well as for her sensitivity in advising clients during what can be very stressful times.
Shirah is presently studying to become a specialist Trust and Estate practitioner with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
In her spare time Shirah plays her part in the community and chairs the board of a community leisure centre. She enjoys keeping fit, swimming, entertaining friends and also appreciates modern art and loves foreign travel.
