Breaking News - Landmark Ruling - Employment Tribunal Fees Abolished!

If you have paid Employment Tribunal fees since 2013 or if you did not bring a claim because you could not afford the fees, there may be some good news for you.

On Wednesday the Supreme Court unanimously backed an appeal by trade union Unison which argued that the fees were introduced unlawfully.

The Ministry of Justice has agreed to repay Tribunal fees collected from employees and we look forward to hearing how those claims can be made.

It is also possible that claims not brought because of prohibitively expensive fees, might be given time to claim.  Watch this space....

Just as people are multi-faceted and infinitely complex - so too is the employment law set up to protect them in the workplace.
