Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary/Assistant

We have a vacancy for a full-time Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary/Assistant.

In your role, you will:

Work in the Residential Conveyancing Department, which has a thriving team of 16 staff, including two Directors, with supporting fee earners and assistants.   

The role will involve a high volume of typing, taking telephone messages, filing and assisting as required.  The use of our case management system is essential – full training will be given to those who are not familiar with this particular software.

This position will suit someone who is well organised and energetic and who enjoys working in a busy team, interacting with clients, agents and other third parties.  The successful candidate will be part of a team of support secretaries/assistants for a fee earner within the Department and will also work closely with other team members.

PC literacy is essential, with expertise particularly in Word, Outlook and Excel. 

Previous knowledge of residential conveyancing is essential, and an enthusiastic and willing approach to new challenges is required as new processes and business opportunities frequently call for changes to processes.
