PHILLIPS RECOGNISED IN THE LEGAL 500 FOR THE 11TH CONSECUTIVE AND HIGHEST-RANKING YEAR

8 October 2021

The wide-ranging expertise of Phillips Solicitors has been recognised in The Legal 500 for the 11th consecutive and highest-ranking year.

The prestigious and influential legal directory is an independent guide to law firms and is highly regarded within the legal profession, as it uses rigorous research and in-depth interviews with clients to compile the listing. Firms are recommended by The Legal 500 on merit alone.

Phillips employment law, corporate and commercial law, dispute resolution, family law and private client teams have all been highly recognised in the rankings for the 2022 edition.

Among those lawyers given special mention in the guide was the head of the Employment Law Team, Gill Brown, who was acknowledged as “one of the finest employment law solicitors in Hampshire,” and as “the go-to person for contentious employment law matters.”

Director Max Hope who leads the Disputes Resolution Team, was noted as being: “Very well respected. He is quick to solve issues and has an impressive in-depth knowledge of corporate litigation. He’s likeable, professional and tenacious.”

Family Law Team Director, Elizabeth Ford, was also highly commended: “She is very knowledgeable… The Family Law Team balance empathy with the delivery of reliable advice.”

Among the testimonials for the corporate team, was the following: “From start to finish of every job they’ve been instructed for, no matter how niche or complex, the team has made our relationship with them smooth sailing. From last minute emergencies to late night calls, any team member you speak to is able to get things done.”

One testimonial for the Private Client Team read as follows: “From the minute you enter the practice you are met with exemplary, sincere professionalism.”

Delighted with the firm’s results in the Legal 500, Phillips’ director Jack Gardener said: “We are delighted to have been rated so highly in the Legal 500 for all of the practice areas on which we made submissions – it is a testament to the hard work and professionalism of our teams and reflects the firm’s position as one of the top law firms in Hampshire and the South East.”
