The Government has given the green light for the property market to reopen.
This is good news if you are looking to buy or sell a property and the Residential Property team at Phillips Solicitors incorporating Brain Chase Coles are on hand to help you.
Zoë Baxter and Jon Coles who head the team welcomed the news yesterday evening when the government announced plans taking effect today that aims to restart the property market in England.
Estate Agents and Letting Agencies can now open, property viewings can be carried out and removal firms can restart operations, while adhering to social distancing and safety rules.
Prospective purchasers can also visit Developers’ sales offices and show homes and some regulations on opening times for construction sites are relaxed in order to allow safer working practices and social distancing.
Agents are allowed to visit properties to get them ready for sale or rent, which includes making appraisals, carrying out valuations and photography.
